After 3 third period goals by Kaltounkova, the CPC Warriors won 6-5. In our third game, we played against the Southwest Wildcats of the PWHL. CPC Warriors were down 1-0 after the first period, but got goals from Lily Brazis and Emma Robertson to win the game 3-2. Our last game of the preliminary round was against Belle Tire. Going into the weekend, Belle Tire was ranked 15th in the nation. Both teams played a fast style of hockey and the game finished in a 2-2 tie. The final game of the tournament was determined by a quotient rating. CPC Warriors received the number 3 seed and played against the Notre Dame Hounds. Sophia Hausberger and Sydney Correa were both solid in net as Maria Pierce scored the lone goal, giving the CPC Warriors the 1-0 win. In the final rankings, the CPC Warriors finished tied for second place with 12 points.
