Kalty Selected to the Czechia Olympic Team

Congratulations to CPC alum Kristýna “Kalty” Kaltounková on being named to the Czechia Olympic Team.

Kaltounková will make her Olympic debut at the 2026 Milan–Cortina Games, marking a major milestone for the young forward. A proven presence on the international stage, she has been a key contributor to the Czech National Team for several years and was named Czech MVP at the 2018 IIHF World Championship.

This past summer, Kaltounková was selected first overall by the New York Sirens, becoming the first player in CPC program history to earn the top overall draft selection.

A standout at Colgate University, Kalty concluded her collegiate career ranked among the nation’s top 10 goal scorers this season. She set a program record with 111 career goals, including 19 game-winning goals, and finished just six points shy of the all-time points record with 229 career points (110 goals, 119 assists) in 164 games. Her decorated career included multiple ECAC Forward of the Week honors, the ECAC Tournament MVP award, and recognition as a Patty Kazmaier Award finalist.

About CPC

“This model is not for everyone,” said Goodrich “the program is designed for the driven player, who is focused on their own advancement and believes in a process to get to where they want to be as a player 1-2-3 years out. All of our players have extremely busy academic and fall sport schedules, it is important for their fall hockey training to be focused and condensed in one location and limit travel so they can train with a purpose.”
