Haverhill Valley Forum, Jr Warriors to Host 2008 Spring Eastern Showcase |

The Haverhill Valley Forum will once again open its doors to a field of the best Junior A teams from across the country this spring. For the second straight year, the Jr Warriors will serve as host of the Spring Eastern Showcase. This year's Spring event will take place on May 15-18, 2008. Over a three-day period, players from more than 40 teams will participate in a minimum of three games at the twin-rinks facility.
"We are excited to bring the Eastern Showcase
back to our facility in Haverhill," said Andy Heinze, coach of the
Valley Junior Warriors "A" team. "These events are not only a great
opportunity for our players to compete against some of the best teams
in the country, but it's also a chance for our organization to show our
ability and willingness to host such premier junior hockey tournaments."

by the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL), the annual Eastern
Showcases are a true showcase for junior hockey talent as they draw
coaches from Division I through Division III colleges, scouts from the
National Hockey League (NHL) and coaches and administrators from the
top junior hockey teams in North America.
The Valley Junior
Warriors will be well represented as the program will be sending its
Junior "A" squad coached by Heinze as well as two other Valley Junior
Warriors teams.
One year ago, the Valley Junior Warriors also
undertook an ambitious redesign of the Eastern Showcase web site. The
tournament web site – www.easternhockeyshowcase.com – features complete
tournament details, including team listings and rosters where
available, as well as complete game results, tournament standings and
statistical leaders.
