  Team Leader Chris Wyman Honored by Eastern Junior Hockey League
Chris_Wyman.jpgFor the second week in a row, a member of the Valley Junior Warriors was recognized for his outstanding offensive performance. Chris Wyman, the top point getter for Andy Heinze's Junior A squad, delivered another spectacular performance and was honored as the Eastern Junior Hockey League (EJHL) Offensive Player of the Week.

Wyman, the 5-8, 175 pound forward, posted three goals and two assists during his team's weekend split against the Junior Bruins and Boston Shamrocks.

On Friday evening, Wyman exploded in Valley's 5-0 victory with a two-goal, two-assist performance. After assisting on the team's first two goals, Wyman went on to post Valley's next two goals… both coming during the second period in a span of just 2:08.

The following day, Wyman did what he could to keep his team in the win column by netting a power-play goal in the second period against the Junior Bruins.

Wyman leads the Warriors in scoring with 19 goals - including a team-high 11 power-play tallies - and 25 assists in 38 games.
